Tanglewood Music center’s 75th anniversary concert: The choral music!

Thanks to a Choral Arts New England Alfred Nash Patterson grant (our second!), and to grants from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Y’diyah Fund from the Berkshire taconic Community Foundation, the Cantilena Chamber Choir will perform music for chorus and orchestra by composers who were Tanglewood Composition fellows. Included in the program will be Psalms by Lukas Foss, Winter Light by Michael Gandolfi, Acrostic Song by David del Tredici, Mechthild von Magdeburg by Thomas Oboe Lee and early choral works by Elliot Carter. Featured on the program will be Kenneth Lampl’s Jerusalem and a premiere of In the Most Silent Hour, a new work for chorus and strings.

Adults: $25, Seniors $20. Children free.
